LOVE ME
feat. AOPD

This song was inspired by my mother Brenda T Goodwin who transitioned October 18. 2024 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease. As the lyrics for chorus began to formulate, I imagined my own death and what I would want to tell my loved ones before my departure.

"Love me when I'm strong, love me when I'm bold..."
As life goes, sometimes we become estranged from the ones we love most. I've experienced tremendous pain in being separated from some my dearest friends and family.

As I began to pen the verses, the mesaage initially meant for my mother began to spread to other loved ones that I miss dearly. By the end of the session, my heart was full of love, compassion and understanding.

This one is for you ma. Thank you for teaching me how to love, especially when the distance is far. Rest easy, OG got it from here.
